Well the game has finally reached the prototype stage. So far the game has most of the game-play features, although not all are added quite yet. The prototype features a basic warehouse, with the spotlight, dynamic camera features, basic enemy AI as well as some physics. The game is progressing at a good pace now that most of the underlying code for the engine has been written. Here are some screenshots of the prototype:
Currently we are working on adding more game-play features so that we can have the game in an Alpha testing stage. This will involve us adding the sound as well as the end-game criteria. Work has already begun on these (such as the pickups) so I hope to be able to post another update shortly, and maybe get some video of the game.
