So in preparation of tomorrows full day of games development in Glasgow, I’ve been tidying up game assets and making sure the code looks neat and tidy. It’d been a few days since I’ve committed any changes to the game, and there had been rather a few. Most of these relating to multi-touch, and getting the touches to behave as they should (at least for this game).

The problems that have arisen so far have mainly been to do with the touch input, and more recently 2D object animation. However it’s always fun coming up with solutions to these problems. The ground work for the new touch mechanics has mostly been  written, short of some tweaking the multi-touch controls will allow for some pretty fast paced mayhem to ensue. After all it’s going to be a pretty action packed game.
